Türkiye queue at the ECtHR: 18,045 pending applications

Türkiye, where the number of cases per judge and prosecutor has reached astronomical proportions, has also ranked at the top among 47 countries with 18,045 pending ECtHR applications against it. It was determined that the number of applications filed against Türkiye which have not yet been adjudicated is higher than the total number of applications against 42 countries combined.
