'The Clash' first season grand winner and singer Golden Cañedo is celebrating a major achievement after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. On Instagram, Golden reflected on her journey and addressed questions from fans who wondered why she stepped away from showbiz. While she remains grateful for the opportunities she gained in entertainment, she shared that she also had dreams beyond the spotlight that she wanted to pursue. "Life leads us to different paths, and sometimes growth means choosing a new journey," she wrote. Looking back on her college years, Golden said earning her diploma came after countless sacrifices, sleepless nights, tears, and prayers as she balanced being a nursing student and a singer. She also thanked her family and loved ones for their unwavering support throughout her academic journey. "This isn't the end of a dream, but the start of a new one," she added. Meanwhile, 'The Clash Teens' is premiering tonight. Judging the Clashers is the esteemed Clash Panel, led by Asia's Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista, who has been part of the panel since Season 1. Joining him are two exciting new additions representing the new generation of performers and artists: Star of the New Gen Jillian Ward and BGYO member and former Clasher, the Chinito P-pop Charmer JL Toreliza. 'The Clash Teens' officially kicks off on June 7 and airs Sundays at 7:15 p.m. on GMA-7 and Kapuso Stream. Fans abroad may also tune in via GMA Pinoy TV.
