Ombudsman’s Mindanao offices on WFH setup after quake

MANILA, Philippines — The offices of the Ombudsman in Mindanao are now on a work-from-home (WFH) arrangement until further notice after a deadly 7.8-magnitude earthquake shook the island on Monday. Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Remulla placed the offices inside the H&C Building in Matina, Davao City, and Alu Building in Cagayan de Oro City under remote work setup to ensure their employees' safety and well-being. The offices are being inspected for structural integrity, Remulla’s office said in a statement. While clearance releases are suspended, complaints may still be filed through mindanao@ombudsman.gov.ph and ombudsman_cdo@ombudsman.gov.ph.
