PCSO, agency partners move swiftly to help out

THE Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) and its authorized agent corporations have quickly responded to extend assistance to communities affected by the magnitude 7.8 earthquake in Mindanao. PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles was all praises for the swift action of the agency’s partners as he stressed that their immediate response reflects PCSO’s mission of bringing help and hope to Filipinos in urgent need. “In times of disaster, the true spirit of compassion becomes even more evident,” Robles said. Authorized agent partners in Mindanao were among those that quickly moved on the ground to support affected residents and coordinate relief efforts with concerned local partners. The PCSO chief said the affected families and communities in Mindanao, particularly in Sarangani province and its neighboring localities, could expect more assistance and support from them without delay. The PCSO remains committed to supporting communities in times of calamity, Robles said as he noted that its network of partners plays a vital role in ensuring that assistance can be delivered quickly, especially in areas directly affected by disasters. “The PCSO is always ready to support our fellow countrymen, especially in times of great need. We thank our AAC partners in Mindanao for acting with urgency, compassion, and a shared commitment to public service,” Robles said.
