MANDAUE CITY, Cebu — A 74-year-old woman died after she was believed to have drowned while gathering seashells and catching crabs along the shoreline in Barangay Labogon, Mandaue City. The victim was identified as Emilita Manatad Piscador, 74, a resident of Purok 5, Sitio Canumay, Barangay Labogon. According to a spot report from the Mandaue City Police Office, her body was found around 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 9, where they found Piscador already unresponsive.
