Since 2020, the Miss Universe Philippines pageant has been attracting formidable aspirants who have made the competition exciting year after year. And this seventh edition is no exception. “We have one of the strongest batches, and we know whoever wins will make our country proud,” said Voltaire Tayag, executive vice president of the Miss Universe Philippines Organization (MUPH). TAIPEI — Taiwanese President Lai Ching-te has called for greater defence and AI cooperation between Taiwan and Europe, as the democratic island seeks to bolster its protection against China.
