London's burning - Huge blaze at recycling centre sends thick column of smoke towering over Bermondsey

"A fire tore through a recycling centre in south London on Monday, sending a huge column of smoke into the sky over the UK capital. Local media reported that 15 fire engines and around 100 firefighters were engages in efforts to extinguish the blaze, which broke out in Bermondsey at around 17.30 local time. The blaze affected train services into Charing Cross and London Bridge stations, although it was reported contained rapidly."
