ANGELES CITY — The death toll from the collapse of a nine-story building under construction in Barangay Balibago, Angeles City, rose to 30 as search, rescue, retrieval, and clearing operations entered their 17th day on Tuesday. The latest victim was extricated at 12:18 a.m., according to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Central Luzon, which is overseeing operations at the site.
