"Residents of the town of Busra al-Harir in Syria’s southern Daraa countryside held a funeral on Wednesday for a mother and three children killed in an Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon. Footage shows ambulances carrying the coffins arriving in the town, where mourners gathered at the cemetery to perform funeral prayers. The video also captures scenes from the burial and condolence ceremonies. Ahmed Saeed al-Alyan, a relative of the victims, said the family had moved to Lebanon around 15 years ago following the outbreak of the Syrian conflict, where they worked in trade to support themselves. "The people of Busra al-Harir are experiencing a great tragedy today with the loss of this family," another relative said, adding that one son survived the ‘treacherous Israeli airstrike’. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights confirmed the death of a Syrian woman and three of her children, adding that another son was injured in the airstrike on southern Lebanon. The Daraa Governorate said in a statement posted on Facebook that residents of Busra al-Harir held funeral ceremonies for four people killed in an Israeli airstrike that struck their home in southern Lebanon. The Israeli military continues to issue near-daily evacuation warnings to residents of towns and villages across southern Lebanon, while carrying out airstrikes it says target Hezbollah infrastructure. On June 3, the State Department announced that Israel and Lebanon had agreed to implement a ceasefire mediated by the US. The agreement includes a complete cessation of hostilities by Hezbollah and the withdrawal of its forces north of the Litani River. The understandings also provide for the establishment of pilot zones under the exclusive control of the Lebanese Army, excluding any non-state armed groups, according to the State Department. On April 15, U.S. President Donald Trump announced a 10-day ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon. The truce was extended for three weeks on April 23 following U.S.-mediated talks between Lebanese and Israeli officials, before Washington announced a further 45-day extension in mid-May. "
