Over 2,000 PNP personnel deployed for Mindanao earthquake response

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) deployed over 2,000 personnel to support emergency response operations following the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck parts of Mindanao on Monday, amid intensified rescue, evacuation, and relief efforts. As of 1 p.m., a total of 2,092 PNP personnel have been deployed nationwide for augmentation duties. These include support in evacuation centers, security of vital installations, and direct assistance to affected residents.
