"As Kazan prepares to host the Russia-ASEAN Summit later this month, archive footage offers a glimpse of the historic city that will soon welcome delegates from across Southeast Asia. Filmed in 2021 and 2024, the footage highlights some of the capital of Russia’s Republic of Tatarstan’s most iconic landmarks, including the Kul Sharif Mosque, the Annunciation Cathedral, the Central Stadium and the Millennium Bridge. The video also captures everyday life in the city, with residents and visitors enjoying sunset views along the Volga embankment and strolling down the bustling Bauman pedestrian street, one of Kazan’s most popular attractions. The Russia-ASEAN Summit takes place from June 17 to 19. ASEAN comprises 11 member states: Brunei, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines and East Timor. "
