Kelly Osbourne has allegedly ended her engagement to Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson, just seven months after he proposed at her father’s farewell Black Sabbath performance. Sources say the 41-year-old television personality and 49-year-old musician quietly separated earlier this month. Sid proposed backstage at the Birmingham concert in July 2025, presenting Kelly with a diamond ring in front of her family, including her late father Ozzy Osbourne, her mother Sharon Osbourne, and her brother Jack Osbourne. "Kelly and Sid have decided to call off their engagement," a source told the Daily Mail. TRENDING Stories Videos Your Say The insider added the pair "have been facing challenges in their relationship for some time, and things were not as they appeared". The source said Kelly has found the grieving process following her father’s death "incredibly difficult" and has been trying to manage her emotions. "They tried to make it work, particularly for the sake of their child, but ultimately decided that separating is the best path forward," the insider explained. Despite what has been described as a "difficult" month, Kelly has maintained her sobriety. She is said to now be focusing on being the best possible parent to the couple’s son. Ozzy died on July 25 last year at the age of 76, following years of serious health issues, including Parkinson’s disease and coronary artery disease. His official cause of death was recorded as a heart attack. Kelly and Bill's relationship developed from a friendship spanning nearly three decades, after first meeting when his band toured with Ozzfest, the festival founded by her parents. Since then, Kelly has been seen attending events with friends and her mother. Following her appearance at the Brits in February, where she accompanied Sharon as her late father was honoured with a posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award, ITV viewers took to social media to express concern. Some pointed to a perceived change in her appearance following his death, with others commenting on her weight loss and describing the star as looking "gaunt" and "near death's door." In response, she referenced her personal struggles in an Instagram post, writing: "There is a special kind of cruelty in hurting someone who is already going through something deeply painful." She added: "Being kicked while I'm down, having my pain questioned, my struggles turned into gossip, and being abandoned when I need love and support the most - none of this reflects strength. It only shows a lack of compassion and character." Kelly described the period as one of the most challenging of her life, saying she felt "dehumanised" by online criticism. On Saturday evening, she attended Ms Lily Allen’s West End show at the London Palladium with a close friend. Meanwhile, Emmerdale actor Bradley Riches recently described Sharon and Kelly as "very strong women" following their loss. Our Standards: The GB News Editorial Charter
