2029 Lok Sabha poll plan: Over 800 seats, 33% women's quota

The government is set to increase Lok Sabha and state assembly seats by 50 percent using the 2011 Census. This move will also enable the immediate implementation of the Women Reservation Act. Seats for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes will also rise. Women will receive one-third reservation within these categories.
