CEBU CITY, Philippines — With a possible increase in electricity rates expected as early as April, households may soon see higher monthly power bills, adding to the growing list of expenses many families are already trying to manage. The Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) earlier said that the anticipated adjustment would be largely driven by rising global fuel prices and the continued depreciation of the peso, both of which would affect generation costs.
