"Emergency teams rushed to a residential building in Nesher, on the outskirts of Haifa, after it was struck by a suspected Iranian cluster munition on Monday. Footage shows the damaged two-storey building, with walls on the upper floor completely destroyed and debris scattered across the site. Emergency teams can be seen assessing the damages, while medics assisted affected residents. This comes after the IDF said it had identified missiles fired from Iran toward northern Israel. No injuries were reported following the strike, according to Magen David Adom. Tensions in the Middle East escalated after a joint US-Israeli operation against Iranian targets started on February 28 amid diplomatic talks aimed at limiting Iran's nuclear and missile programmes. Tehran responded with strikes on Israel and US military positions in the region, with explosions reported across Gulf countries. Iran confirmed that Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was killed in strikes on the first day of the conflict. His son, Mojtaba Khamenei, has since assumed leadership of the country."
