Three months after arrest, co-owner of fire-hit Goa nightclub gets bail

A Goa court has granted bail to Ajay Gupta, a co-owner of the Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub. The devastating fire at the establishment last December claimed 25 lives. Gupta was arrested in New Delhi over three months ago. His lawyer argued there was no evidence against him in the police chargesheet. The judge released Gupta on bail with conditions.
