Harish Rana, India's first person to be allowed passive euthanasia, dies in AIIMS

Harish Rana, the first person in India to receive passive euthanasia, has passed away. He was 31 years old and had been in a coma for over 13 years. The Supreme Court had granted permission for passive euthanasia on March 11. Rana was admitted to AIIMS-Delhi on March 14. A specialized medical team oversaw the process to ensure dignity.
