"Emergency services rushed to the scene in Tel Aviv on Tuesday after a four‑storey building was damaged amid a fresh wave of Iranian missile attacks that caused multiple injuries and property damage in central Israel. Footage shows rescue personnel examining structural damage at the building and searching nearby apartments. "We scanned all the buildings and all the places. The instructions save lives. We conclude that whoever went into the shelter and safe room was saved," said Ben Zion, an MDA Volunteer. "The impact hits the road and creates a blast that damages adjacent structures, three structures that are significantly damaged. Our forces are arriving here. I take command of the internal scene, and actually, according to defined sector boundaries, each force enters to perform scans in the damaged buildings," added Commander of Dan District in Home Front, Colonel Miki David. Iran says it launched the recent barrage of missiles at Israel as 'defensive retaliation' against what it calls unprovoked US and Israeli attacks on Iranian territory and vows to continue its operations. The US-Israeli operation started on February 28 amid diplomatic talks aimed at limiting Iran's nuclear and missile programmes. Tehran responded with strikes on Israel and US military positions in the region, with explosions reported across Gulf countries and the effective closure of the Strait of Hormuz. Trump said via social media that he was postponing attacks on Iranian power plants for 'five days' after, on Saturday, he gave Iran a 48-hour 'deadline' to reopen the Strait, or he would 'obliterate' the country's power plants."
