Entropy and Eschatology: From Creation to Collapse – Why the Laws of Physics and the Witness of Scripture Converge on a Finite, Contingent Cosmos

This essay examines the convergence between contemporary physical cosmology and biblical eschatology on the question of cosmic finitude. Drawing on the Second Law of Thermodynamics, the standard ACDM model of cosmology, dark energy dynamics, and quantum field theory scenarios including vacuum decay, it is argued that the universe is thermodynamically, kinematically, and ontologically non -eternal.
