The Better India
For the past 16 years, Mumbai-based Robin Chaurasiya and her friend Bani have been rewriting futures for daughters of sex workers. What began in Kamathipura as a response to stigma and broken systems has grown into Kranti- a space where girls don’t just find shelter, but education and leadership. From being denied classrooms to performing for 100,000+ people, these girls are reclaiming their voices. Today, 80% are in college, and many return as teachers and changemakers. “We don’t want sympathy for our past. We want equality for our future.” Loved the video?
