MANILA, Philippines – The prevailing easterlies will cause scattered rains and thunderstorms over several parts of the country, the weather bureau said on Wednesday. These areas are the Bicol Region, Quezon, Marinduque, Romblon, Oriental Mindoro, Northern Samar and Eastern Samar, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
