Baku-Ankara economic bloc gains weight in shifting Eurasian trade map

In January–February of this year, trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkiye amounted to 877.1 million USD, which represents a decline of 127.5 million USD or 12.7% compared to the same period in 2025. Turkiye accounted for 14% of Azerbaijan’s overall foreign trade, maintaining its position as the country’s second-largest trading partner after Italy.
