ILIGAN CITY – More than 600 jeepney drivers began a three-day transport strike here on Wednesday to demand a P5 fare adjustment due to the skyrocketing fuel costs. The drivers belong to the transport group Boses at Samahan ng mga Jeepney Drivers and Operators Association (Busina). Jessie Sumaylo, Busina president, told the Inquirer that jeepney drivers plying the Dalipuga, Acmac, San Roque, Saint Mary, Bagong Silang, Pala-o, Tubod Terminal, Suarez, Buru-un, and Ubaldo Laya and Lugait routes took part in the transport holiday.
