73-Year-Old Narrowly Missed 80-Year-Old: Five Months Probation After Shooting at Woman

A 73-year-old man was sentenced to five months probation by the Eisenstadt Regional Court on Tuesday for endangering physical safety and trespassing. The charge was originally attempted murder, as the prosecution accused him of shooting at an 80-year-old acquaintance in St. Martin an der Raab (Jennersdorf district) last September and missing her. However, the jury ultimately did not find this proven.
