AK Price Monitor: No Noticeable Relief for the Cheapest Food Items

Cheaper, yet still expensive: The cheapest groceries are on average 5.5 percent cheaper this year than a year ago, but there is no talk of significant relief. According to the AK Price Monitor, the prices for a basket of 40 cheap groceries and cleaning products have increased by 49 percent since autumn 2021.
