DepEd to Western Visayas schools: No fees for end-of-school-year rites

ILOILO CITY — The Department of Education (DepEd) in Western Visayas has reiterated that no fees should be collected from students, parents, or teachers for end-of-school-year (EOSY) activities, including graduation and moving-up ceremonies. The directive was contained in Regional Memorandum No. 274, series of 2026, signed by Cristito A. Eco, regional director of the Department of Education Region VI.
