Bicol’s damaged Maharlika Highway section now open for Holy Week rush

LEGAZPI CITY, Albay — Motorists traveling from Metro Manila and bound for Bicol, Visayas, and Mindanao (and vice versa) for the Holy Week observance can now use previously damaged portions of the Maharlika Highway. This is after the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed emergency repairs ahead of the peak travel period.
