Faith and security: Cebu City police set for Holy Week deployment

CEBU CITY, Philippines — Security preparations are in place in Cebu City ahead of the Holy Week 2026 observance, with police set to deploy more than 1,300 personnel and force multipliers to secure key areas, including transport hubs and places of worship.
