The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) has forecast that the majority of the Kingdom will be met with rainfall accompanied by active surface winds between Wednesday and Thursday. These high winds — with speeds of 60 km/h — are expected to stir up dust, leading to rediced or near-zero visibility. Some of the regions effected — based on an aniamted weather map the NCM issues — include, Northern Borders, Eastern Province, Madinah, Al-Qassim, Asir, Najran, and Riyadh. The NCM is also expecting an increase in wave heights raching more than 2.5 meters along coastal areas.
