BACOLOD CITY — The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) will begin distributing P240 million in fuel subsidies to around 48,000 tricycle drivers across 22 local government units on Negros Island starting April 8. Under the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) program, each qualified driver will receive P5,000 to help ease the burden of rising fuel prices, Negros Island Region Director Arwin Razo said Thursday, March 26.
