Marcos: PH has enough crude oil until June 2026

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Friday announced that the country has sufficient crude oil supply to last until June 30, 2026. At the sidelines of the opening of the NAIA Expressway Phase II, Marcos said he and San Miguel Corp. Chairman Ramon Ang have discussed the importation of fuel to support domestic supply.. "In terms of crude oil supply, because they are importing crude oil to be refined here in the Philippines, the price is different... It is more expensive when you import refined oil, which is diesel. And he (Ang) said, we already have a supply of crude oil, sufficient supply to last until June 30," he said.
