Villar Group malls adjust operating hours starting March 30

MANILA, Philippines — Shopping malls under the Villar Group will adjust its operating hours starting March 30, 2026, following the government’s declaration of a national energy emergency. In separate advisories, Vista Land & Lifescapes Inc. said that operating hours for its Vista Malls would be modified, with all branches set to operate from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Monday to Friday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The same adjusted schedule will likewise be implemented across its Starmalls network. Both operators advised mallgoers to check the official social media pages of their preferred branches for any branch-specific updates or changes. The adjustment comes as businesses respond to measures aimed at managing electricity consumption amid tightening power supply conditions. Mall operators, among the country’s largest energy users, are expected to recalibrate operating hours to help ease demand on the grid.
