P12.9M marijuana, P1.3M illegal logs seized in Cagayan Valley

TUGUEGARAO CITY — Authorities seized at least P12.9 million worth of marijuana and P1.3 million in illegal logs, while arresting 169 individuals during the Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) conducted across Cagayan Valley from March 19 to 25, police said Friday. Police Brig. Gen. Antonio Marallag Jr., Cagayan Valley regional police director, said authorities carried out 11 anti-illegal drug operations that led to the arrest of 12 suspected drug dealers.
