Government Agrees on Social Media Ban Until Age 14 and Curriculum Reform with Latin Reduction

The federal government has agreed on a social media ban for children under 14 years old and a reform of the AHS upper-level curricula. Starting from 2027/28, teenagers will receive more lessons in media literacy, democracy, and dealing with AI. In return, Latin lessons will be reduced, though less drastically than initially planned after protests.
