MANILA, Philippines — A local court of Tacloban City affirmed its ruling convicting community journalist Frenchie Mae Cumpio and church worker Marielle Domequil of financing terrorism as it stood by the testimonies of the prosecution’s key witnesses that the two accused “knowingly provided” funds and supplies to a group tagged as a terror organization.
