MANILA, Philippines — Not charity, but solidarity. College students who dropped by their local community pantry in Maginhawa Street in Quezon City on Friday live up to this mutual aid adage as they brought groceries for public utility vehicle drivers who are reeling from huge drop in take home pay after weeks of big-time oil price hike. Joelle Vivienne Villafuerte, 19, and her classmates stopped by the pantry to put up the rice, canned goods, and instant noodles they bought.
