Woman killed in Espoo, suspect held

A woman was killed in an apartment building in Espoo late Friday night, police said. The murder took place at about 8:00 p.m. at the stairwell of the building at Henttaa area in the city. Responding to an alarm from an eyewitness police rushed to the spot and found that the adult woman already succumbed to her injuries on the spot. The police did not disclose detail about the incident. Members of the law enforcing agency arrested the suspect of the murder immediately after the incident. Police, however, did not divulge the identities of the deceased and the suspect and their relation at the preliminary stage of the investigation. Police are investigating into the case as murder.
