Apple's next 50th anniversary concert is probably in China

New York had Alicia Keys, now China is celebrating Apple's 50th birthday with a score of dancers now seen rehearsing ahead of what looks to be a spectacular light show and concert. Now Chinese social media is starting to show what may be the next event, a dance and probably music concert in China. Images seen so far appear to show that Apple has created a stage in front of its Apple Chengdu Taikoo Li store. Nintendo Switch Friends Lists Just Got Much Better With The New Update

The latest system software update for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 included more than stability, adding a feature that should be standard on all gaming platforms. Users can now add notes about their friends on their ever-growing friends list across both platforms. As Nintendo's patch notes for Version 22.0.0 read, the Switch firmware update added "the ability to save notes about friends on your Friend List." Friends won't see the notes you write about them, and you can even see and edit your friends' notes on the Nintendo Switch smartphone app. With notes, users can write a reminder of who a friend is, what their name is, or how they met them. It's a huge help for Switch owners with unwieldy friend lists, especially if they've been building up since the original Switch launched in 2017. The feature is arguably nine years too late, as your list might already include an overabundance of nicknames and aliases that you no longer recognize, or random people you friended after online gaming sessions, only to be forgotten soon after. Starfield Blasts Off On PlayStation 5 Next Month

Bethesda’s open-world sci-fi RPG Starfield is leaping to a new star system. And by that, we mean PlayStation 5, which happens on April 7. Starfield first launched for Xbox Series X/S and PC in September 2023, and centers on players controlling a space miner who pilots a customizable ship to visit explorable planets within the Milky Way galaxy to solve an ancient mystery. The PlayStation 5 version will include every post-launch update as well as the upcoming Free Lanes update, which goes live for everyone on the same day. Gameplay takes advantage of the DualSense controller’s adaptive triggers to add a unique feel to different weapons, and the controller’s light bar will indicate the health of both your character and your starship. The touchpad can also be used as a shortcut for switching between points-of-view, opening the map, and using the hand scanner. Starfield on PS5 comes in two editions: a $49.99 Standard Edition that only consists of the base game and a $69.99 Premium Edition.
