Meghan Markle pictured during filming of With Love, Meghan Meghan Markle is brushing off some of the criticism levelled at her divisive Netflix series. Earlier this year, the Duchess of Sussex premiered her lifestyle series With Love, Meghan , which came under a lot of criticism from both critics and viewers , largely due to how out-of-step they felt it was in the current social and economic climate. The second season debuted on the streaming service earlier this week and has already been similarly-maligned (filming actually began before the first batch of episodes had even begun streaming, so there wasn’t exactly much time for the Suits star to take any of the criticisms into account when putting together the latest instalments). Still, it doesn’t sound like she’s taking much of what’s been said about her show to heart. Asked about some of the negative reactions to season one during a new interview with Bloomberg , Meghan responded: “ I think I knew who I was trying to meet [with the show]. And so, if you know your audience, you know your demographic, well, they love the show. And my partners love the show, and that’s why we have a season two and why we have more fun coming. “So, I think often times the negative voices, are they saying negative things and then secretly going home and making single-skillet spaghetti? Possibly.” A third season of With Love, Meghan looked in doubt earlier this year, when it was reported that the deal between Netflix and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had been “scrapped”. However, it was later revealed that Meghan and her husband Prince Harry had signed a new revised partnership with the streaming giant, which would an include an upcoming festive special of her series, offering a seasonal twist on her usual tips for crafting, cooking, gardening and hosting guests. With Love, Meghan is available to stream now on Netflix.
