"Tensions flared in Melbourne on Sunday afternoon, as pro-Palestine protesters clashed with participants of the anti-immigration 'March for Australia'. Footage shows hundreds of protesters chanting while marching with banners and Palestinian flags near Flinders Street railway station. They were also seen tearing the Australian flag. Police were deployed to restore order and break apart the two groups. At least one pro-Palestine protester was detained, according to reports. On the same day, similar anti-immigration demonstrations were held in other major cities across Australia, including Sydney. The state government condemned the demonstrations as linked to neo-Nazis."
