The teenager, a US citizen with disabilities, was in a vehicle with his mother outside Arleta high school in Los Angeles on 11 August when masked immigration agents surrounded them and pulled them from the vehicle. "It is perfectly clear that these three countries [UK, France, and Germany] follow the US and do not have an independent stance in their talks with Iran," one said. It comes after Britain, France and Germany announced on Thursday that they would move to reimpose UN sanctions against Iran, citing alleged breaches of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi denounced the decision as 'unjustified and illegal', insisting that the mechanism had been triggered despite Iran’s continued commitment to transparency and diplomacy."

"In the heart of Islamabad, artist Ehtisham Jadoon has transformed his outdoor workshop into a menagerie of welded wonders, where discarded scrap metal is reborn as lifelike beasts. Footage captured on Friday shows his collection of sculptures on display, most of them inspired by wildlife. A striking metal lion bears a mane fashioned from electric cables, while an imposing mountain goat stands alongside a rhino whose back leg ends in a pincer and whose body glints with a convex-shaped metal piece resembling a wok. Each of these formidable creations is built entirely from discarded materials, sourced mainly from junkyards and scrap dealers. "If you try to understand its materials, I have used SSPs, automotive parts, I mean, whatever best form of scrap I can collect myself, I use it accordingly. I have also used some antiques in this," explained Jadoon. The artist has gained recognition for his extraordinary ability to transform waste into intricate works of art, producing a fusion of industrial refuse and imaginative brilliance. In his hands, discarded metal finds new purpose as expressive, dynamic forms. He welds, shapes and assembles each fragment into detailed sculptures, his process embodying the principle of true upcycling, breathing life and value into what would otherwise be left as scrap. "It is a form of scrap, and when you utilise this (scrap) with some innovation and creativity and present to the people your creation, it becomes a value," he said. "Then you can sell it locally, but its broader market is international. I am trying to create such an ecosystem where we can create jobs for people," he added. Jadoon’s artistry is widely praised for its dynamism and realism, ranging from eagles in flight, roaring bears, horses and wolves, to insects. He also produces detailed human figures, including busts of historical and pop culture icons."
