US ski star Lindsey Vonn said on Monday she had suffered a “complex tibia fracture” when she crashed in the Winter Olympics downhill and would need “multiple surgeries”. “While yesterday did not end the way I had hoped, and despite the intense physical pain it caused, I have no regrets,” Vonn said on her social media, from the hospital in Italy where she is being treated. MANILA, Philippines — Bank lending grew at a slower pace in December 2025, as the confidence crisis triggered by a widening corruption scandal tempers the impact of a low-interest rate environment. Latest data from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) showed outstanding loans from big banks grew by 9.2 percent year-on-year to P14.3 trillion during the final month of 2025.
