Neighboring towns of Subic Freeport get P158.9 million revenue shares

OLONGAPO CITY —  A total of P158.9 million net revenue shares was distributed to eight neighboring communities of the Subic Bay Freeport, the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) said. Subic Freeport’s revenue shares came from the five-percent corporate taxes paid by business locators for the second quarter of 2025, according to a statement from the agency over the weekend. SBMA said that no formal turnover ceremony was held for the February 2026 release, but the distribution, which started on Feb. 1, has been completed.
