? Live: SpaceX launches 11th Starship test flight in Texas

"SpaceX launches its 11th Starship test flight from Starbase, Texas on Monday, October 13. The stainless-steel rocket is touted as the world’s most powerful and is designed to be fully reusable for missions to the Moon and Mars. The flight marks the final mission of the 'Version 2' Starship before SpaceX shifts to a larger model. It follows a similar profile to August’s Flight 10, with the booster aiming for a splashdown in the Gulf of Mexico and the upper stage releasing dummy satellites before re-entering the atmosphere. This test focuses on a new landing burn sequence for the Super Heavy booster, firing five of its 33 Raptor engines instead of three to improve safety and efficiency. Engineers will also remove heat-shield tiles from the upper stage to stress-test specific areas during descent."
