The prime minister was attacked by Tory leader Kemi Badenoch after it was announced new digital ID cards will no longer be compulsory for anyone seeking work in the UK. Incredibly, it is the 13th major policy U-turn the PM has made since Labour won the 2024 general election. At prime minister’s questions, Badenoch told him: “Can I welcome the prime minister’s latest U-turn?
