Bancomat, scordi lo scontrino? Occhio: ti svuotano il conto

Le ricevute al bancomat ? Meglio non abbandonarle vicino agli sportelli. E il motivo è serio: quei fogli possono essere usati dai malintenzionati per accedere ai dati bancari personali. A dare l'allarme sono le forze dell'ordine, che parlano di fenomeno in crescita. Per questo la Polizia Postale ha invitato tutti alla prudenza, dando alcuni suggerimenti per evitare di diventare delle vittime. Scendendo nel dettaglio della truffa , i criminali si appostano nelle vicinanze degli sportelli automatici in attesa che qualcuno, dopo un prelievo o un pagamento, dimentichi lo scontrino lì vicino. Quel foglio, infatti, rappresenta per loro una fonte infinita di informazioni importanti: numero parziale della carta, saldo residuo, codice identificativo del terminale e, in alcuni casi, anche dettagli relativi all'operazione appena effettuata. [[ge:kolumbus:liberoquotidiano:44520091]] Dopo aver recuperato la ricevuta, i criminali o abbinano i dati dello scontrino ad altre informazioni già in loro possesso, cercando di ricostruire l'identità del titolare e ottenere accesso al conto, o si fingono operatori della banca e contattano la vittima chiedendo conferma di alcune informazioni "per sicurezza". Così raccolgono ulteriori dati sensibili da usare per frodi successive. In altri casi ancora, i truffatori usano quelle informazioni per inviare e-mail o sms contraffatti , spacciandosi per la banca e chiedendo l'accesso al conto per "bloccare un tentativo di accesso non autorizzato". E c'è ancora un'altra possibilità: quei dati possono essere rivenduti sul dark web o sfruttati per clonare carte di pagamento. I consigli della Polizia Postale sono: non lasciare mai lo scontrino al bancomat, attivare notifiche sms o push per ogni operazione bancaria, così da essere avvisati in tempo reale di ogni movimento sospetto, non fornire mai dati personali o bancari via telefono o email, controllare regolarmente il proprio estratto conto. Se si pensa di essere caduti nella trappola, bisogna innanzitutto bloccare la propria carta tramite i numeri di emergenza degli istituti bancari e poi sporgere denuncia . (Adnkronos) - “A marzo, insieme a Nestlé, abbiamo costruito un bando che ha avuto due obiettivi: lavorare sull'empowerment al femminile e diffondere nel territorio umbro la cultura del dono. Questo secondo punto è importante perché il crowdfunding aiuta le organizzazioni a coinvolgere il territorio e a partecipare alla realizzazione dei progetti”. Così la presidente della Rete del Dono, Valeria Vitali, alla conferenza stampa tenutasi ieri presso lo stabilimento Perugina di Perugia dove è stato premiato il progetto della Cooperativa Pepita volto a promuovere l'inclusione e la tutela delle donne. “Il bando si è composto in diversi momenti. Il primo è stato quello della definizione degli ambiti dell'intervento. Abbiamo deciso che il focus era quello di potenziare le competenze delle donne. Il secondo è stato quello di selezionare le organizzazioni che presentassero i progetti interessanti sul territorio umbro; poi portare avanti un percorso formativo sul digital fundraising e il crowdfunding; infine arrivare alla selezione che abbiamo condiviso con Nestlé e i suoi lavoratori e le lavoratrici”, ha continuato Vitali. “Del progetto di Pepita ci ha convinto il fatto che è trasversale e intergenerazionale - ha concluso la donna - Un'idea che coinvolge non solo le giovani, ma anche le donne anziane che mettono a disposizione delle nuove generazioni, la loro esperienza e il loro background”.
