Londra, 11 feb. (Adnkronos) - Sarah Ferguson sta progettando un sorprendente ritorno alla vita pubblica, senza il suo ex marito Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. Lo scrive il Daily Mail, aggiungendo che Fergie "si sta rimettendo in sesto": ha trascorso con alcuni amici qualche giorno sulle Alpi francesi prima di volare negli Emirati Arabi. L'ex duchessa di York ha inoltre raggiunto la sua secondogenita Eugenia, che si trovava a Doha per partecipare a una fiera d'arte nel ruolo di direttrice presso la galleria d'arte Hauser and Wirth. Secondo il tabloid, lungi dal fare un 'mea culpa' pubblico sulle continue rivelazioni riguardanti la sua amicizia con il condannato per reati sessuali Jeffrey Epstein, la Ferguson sta già cercando un nuovo team di pubbliche relazioni che la rappresenti mentre pianifica il suo ritorno nel Regno Unito. Alcune fonti affermano che avrebbe detto apertamente agli amici: "Devo tornare al lavoro. Ho bisogno di soldi", senza parlare di un futuro con l'ex marito, assieme al quale un tempo si definiva come "la coppia divorziata più felice del mondo", oltre a condividere la stessa residenza alla Royal Lodge, la vasta dimora di Andrew a Windsor, per ben trent'anni dopo la separazione. Sarah non raggiungerà l'ex marito nella sua nuova casa nella tenuta reale di Sandringham, nel Norfolk. Vorrebbe invece restare nella zona di Windsor, dove acquisterà o prenderà in affitto una casa. A un'amica avrebbe detto: "Quando tornerò, dovrò mettere un po' di distanza tra me e Andrew". Chi la conosce, scrive ancora il Daily Mail, pensa che stia "prendendo in giro" se stessa se crede di poter riprendere da dove aveva interrotto e tornare a una vita normale. Le e-mail tra l'ex duchessa ed Epstein mostrano che lei lo cercava in continuazione per ottenere denaro con cui saldare i suoi debiti. Contengono prove del fatto che lei rimase in stretto contatto con lui dopo che fu rilasciato dalla prigione per reati sessuali su minori, arrivando persino a portare le sue due figlie, le principesse Beatrice ed Eugenia, a pranzo con lui cinque giorni dopo il suo rilascio.

Here is where to find some of the city's most romantic places. Top of most people's list is the Giardino degli Aranci, or Orange Garden, on the summit of the Aventine hill. A popular destination all year round, it offers a sweeping panorama over the city, with stunning views of St Peter's and the Vittoriano. Make for the river and you will find two of Rome's most romantic bridges: the music-filled Ponte Sisto and the angel-lined Ponte S. Angelo leading to Castel S. Angelo. Castel Sant'Angelo Heading into the centro storico there are the old favourites, the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps, both of which are at their most magical when illuminated by night. Via Margutta, tucked away between Piazza di Spagna and Piazza del Popolo, is arguably the city's most romantic street. Draped in greenery and home to a multiude of galleries and art studios, there is a secret quality to the street which featured in Roman Holiday and was once the home of Fellini. Last but not least is the rather unlikely suggestion of a graveyard: the Non-Catholic Cemetery to be precise. With its otherworldly atmosphere and winding paths, this cemetery hosts the graves of many notable cultural figures, including the great Romantic Poets themselves: Keats and Shelley.
